Inventory Control
Today I learned about inventory organization.
My room/jewelry studio is in complete chaos. I decided to research some ideas for better organizing my products and materials. I actually got a bit side tracked and looked into organizing software. Pretty interesting stuff! However, then I remembered in my Computer Systems class I took at Hawaii Pacific University. Microsoft Access already has an inventory database. I was playing around on that all night… I really should have been sleeping instead but eh, I’ll deal.
So I have organized my pieces into various collections based on style, color, and materials. I then attached some pictures I took. Then just for fun I merged it into publisher and wa-la! I made myself a catalog! Still have to work out a few kinks but other wise… very excited!
